Meet Mia
Hi, I’m Mia — the baker behind Mimi Bakes.
I became gluten free in my late teens and quickly realised how hard it was to find treats that felt truly special. What started as recreating the bakes I missed slowly turned into a genuine love for baking — something creative, comforting, and made to be shared.
I care deeply about detail, flavour, and making things with intention. For me, gluten free should never feel like a compromise — it should feel indulgent, thoughtful, and made with love.
What We Do
I run a monthly drop of tasty treats, released in limited quantities, featuring a rotating menu of favourites and new flavours. It’s my way of keeping things creative, seasonal, and exciting — with something to look forward to each month.
Alongside the monthly boxes, I also create bakes for:
Birthdays
Small celebrations
Events
Gifting
Brand collaborations
Whether it’s a box of brownies for a cosy night in or desserts for a special gathering, every order is made with the same intention: thoughtful, joyful baking that brings people together.
Allergies
All products are made using 100% gluten-free ingredients. Baking takes place in a shared home kitchen where gluten and other allergens are present at other times. To minimise the risk of cross-contamination, I use separate baking trays, bowls, utensils, and equipment that are not used for gluten baking. All work surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned before and after each bake, and the oven is deep-cleaned weekly prior to baking.
Despite taking every reasonable precaution, as this is a shared kitchen, products may contain traces of gluten or other allergens. Customers with coeliac disease, food allergies, or severe sensitivities should consider this carefully and contact me directly if they require further information before ordering.
I am registered with my local council, have completed all required food hygiene and allergen training, and follow appropriate food safety and allergen management procedures. I have a 5 star hygiene rating.
